Day 01 Day 01 - Negombo
Day 01 - Negombo

Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport and enjoy a warm welcome by your private driver/guide. Transfer to Negombo, a lively beach town known for its vibrant culture, fresh seafood, watersports and nightlife. Visit the historic St. Mary's Church, take a scenic boat ride along the Hamilton Canal, explore the colourful fishing village, and unwind on the golden beach as the sun sets.

  • Arrival and assistant at the airport, Proceed to Negombo
  • Visit the St. Mary's Church Negombo, often called "little Rome" by the Portuguese and consisted of many churches all around the city
  • Go on a boat ride along the Hamilton canal and pay a visit to old Dutch fort in Negombo
  • Pay a visit to a nearby fishing village to get glimpse of the local lifestyle
  • Experience the colorful evening sky and the setting sun as you enjoy the evening breeze
  • Enjoy the raving nightlife of the city after a relaxing beach walk
Day 02 - Anuradhapura

Travel to Anuradhapura, the ancient first kingdom of Sri Lanka, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Embark on an exciting jeep safari at Wilpattu National Park, home to leopards and diverse wildlife. Explore the sacred Ruwanwalisaya and Isurumuniya temples before climbing the iconic Mihintale Rock to catch a breathtaking sunset panorama.

  • Admire the stonework at Isurumuniya temple along with its lovers' statue, elephant pond and other stone carvings
  • Visit Mihintale, where Buddhism was introduced to Sri Lanka. Climb Mihintale Rock to witness the beautiful sunset.

Day 03 - Sigiriya

Ascend the legendary Sigiriya Rock Fortress ? a 5th-century citadel built atop a towering rock 200 metres high, offering incredible views and ancient frescoes. Hike nearby Pidurangala Rock for a different vantage point, then enjoy a thrilling jeep safari at Minneriya National Park to witness herds of wild elephants. End the day with a traditional boat ride on the serene tank.

Day 04 - Kandy

Drive to the cultural capital of Kandy. En route visit the magnificent Dambulla Cave Temple, adorned with over 150 Buddha statues and ancient murals. Stroll through the Royal Botanical Gardens at Peradeniya, learn about Ceylon gems and batik craftsmanship, and pay your respects at the revered Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic.

Day 05 - Nuwara Eliya

Journey up to Nuwara Eliya at 6,182 feet, Sri Lanka's charming "Little England" known for its cool climate and colonial heritage. Visit the spectacular Ramboda Waterfall, wander through lush green tea gardens and learn how Ceylon tea is made, offer prayers at the Seetha Amman Kovil temple, and treat yourself to a traditional English high tea at the grand colonial Grand Hotel.

Day 06 - Yala

Head south to Yala, home to Sri Lanka's most famous national park. Enjoy a thrilling 3?4 hour jeep safari through Yala National Park in search of leopards, elephants, sloth bears, deer and hundreds of bird species. After the safari, visit the iconic Nine Arches Bridge ? a stunning colonial-era viaduct ? and hike Little Adam's Peak for sweeping views over the hill country.

Day 09 - Colombo

Explore the Pettah market district, then relax at the famous Galle Face Green beachfront promenade watching the Indian Ocean at sunset. Enjoy a farewell dinner before your final night.
